FUEGO EN LA PISTA (Serie de Bailes) / Curadora y Coordinadora

Invitada por el Centro de Cultura Digital  #Fuegoenlapista nace como un proyecto para recuperar el goce colectivo de bailar juntxs, a través de diversos estilos de baile rastreados en la CDMX que se han incorporado a nuestro “archivo local bailador” gracias a la era digital.

Con un formato de clases abiertas en la explanada del Centro de Cultura Digital, #Fuegoenlapista celebra y visibiliza el origen de estos bailes, que en su mayoría han nacido desde la resistencia, protesta y liberación de los poderes hegemónicos; y nos recuerda que bailar es pensar el mundo y transformarlo

FIRE ON THE DANCE FLOOR (Dance series) / Curator and Coordinator

Invited by the Digital Cultural Center #Fuegoenlapista was born as a project to recover the collective enjoyment of dancing together, through various dance styles tracked in CDMX that have been incorporated into our “local dancer archive” thanks to the digital age.

With an open class format on the esplanade of the Digital Culture Center, #Fuegoenlapista celebrates and makes visible the origin of these dances, which have mostly been born from resistance, protest and liberation from hegemonic powers; and reminds us that dancing is thinking about the world and transforming it.
