THINK TANK / Curadora y diseñadora de contenidos

Impulsado por Ilona Goyeneche, coordinadora cultural del Goethe Institute Mexiko, Tanz Antena fue ideado como un proyecto de colaboración entre Alemania y México en el ámbito de la danza y el performance que se construyera de tal manera que fuese sostenible en el tiempo. Este proyecto iniciaría con una fase de construcción a 3 años. Un proyecto de esta envergadura no podía levantarse sin antes generar una plataforma de encuentro donde se discutieran los contextos (artísticos, sociales, económicos, etc.)  de la danza contemporánea en México y Alemania, reconociendo deseos, necesidades y urgencias, y también para definir las primeras líneas de acción para colaboraciones e intercambios bilaterales futuros.  A esta plataforma se le llamó el Think Tank  y reunió a creadores y gestores de Hermosillo, Xalapa, Tijuana, Morelia, Guadalajara, San Luis Potosí y CDMX, y de Alemania directores de espacios, dramaturgos y gestores de Postdam, Hamburgo y Düsseldorf. El Think Tank se propuso también como un espacio de imaginación sobre otras posibles formas de pensar, crear y diseminar la danza.  El diseño de este encuentro abarcó  clases de baile sorpresa para empezar el día, mapeos, mesas de trabajo y picnics, durante 3 días se establecieron varios lineamientos para el florecimiento del Tanz Antena. 

Algunos de los temas disparadores que propuse para el  el Think Tank fueron:

¿Qué necesitamos atender/impulsar localmente? ¿Hacia dónde dirigir la mirada, las acciones, de acuerdo a nuestro contexto?

Formación / entrenamiento / ¿cómo nos estamos moviendo? ¿Por qué? ¿cómo nos queremos mover?

Discursos artísticos (reflexiones sobre el adentro y el afuera) ¿qué estamos queriendo decir?

¿Cómo vincularse en/con la República Mexicana?

Modelos de colaboración internacional (intercambios, residencias)

¿Cuál sería hoy un modelo de colaboración óptimo entre Alemania y México?

Modelos de financiación / economías  (nacionales e internacionales)

¿Qué modelos de financiamiento podrían ser posibles?

El Think Tank continuó su discusión a distancia entre los invitados de Alemania y México para dar forma y concretar varios proyectos que han acontecido entre 2015 y 2017, aquí algunos ejemplos:

THINK TANK / Curator and contents designer

Promoted by Ilona Goyeneche, cultural coordinator of the Goethe Institute Mexiko, Tanz Antena was conceived as a collaborative project between Germany and Mexico in the field of dance and performance that was built in such a way that it was sustainable over time. This project would start with a 3-year construction phase. A project of this magnitude could not be built without generating a meeting platform where the contexts (artistic, social, economic, etc.) of contemporary dance in Mexico and Germany were discussed, recognizing desires, needs and urgencies, and also to define the first lines of action for future bilateral collaborations and exchanges. This platform was called the Think Tank and brought together creators and managers from Hermosillo, Xalapa, Tijuana, Morelia, Guadalajara, San Luis Potosi and CDMX, and from Germany space managers, playwrights and managers from Potsdam, Hamburg and Düsseldorf. The Think Tank was also proposed as a space for imagination about other possible ways of thinking, creating and disseminating dance. The design of this meeting included surprise dance classes to start the day, mappings, work tables and picnics, during 3 days several guidelines were established for the flowering of the Tanz Antena.

Some of the trigger themes that I proposed for the Think Tank were:

What do we need to attend / promote locally? Where to direct the look, the actions, according to our context?

Training / training / how are we moving? Why? How do we want to move?

Artistic discourses (reflections on the inside and the outside), what are we trying to say?

How to link in / with the Mexican Republic?

International collaboration models (exchanges, residences)

What would be today an optimal collaboration model between Germany and Mexico?

Financing models / economies (national and international)

What financing models could be possible?

The Think Tank continued its discussion at a distance between the guests from Germany and Mexico to shape and concretize several projects that have taken place between 2015 and 2017, here are some examples:
