Úumbal es un proyecto inspirado y creado a partir de la forma de bailar de varios habitantes de la Ciudad de México;  de la necesidad de ejercitar nuevas formas posibles de encuentro con otros a partir del baile, y del deseo de experimentar otras formas de recorrer, reconocer y re apropiarse del espacio público. 

Úumbal propone estar, andar y bailar por las calles de la ciudad como una forma de  liberación del cuerpo individual y colectivo, como una manifestación artístico-política que reclama el derecho al goce, a estar juntos.

Úumbal is a project inspired and created from the diverse ways of dancing of many inhabitants of Mexico city; from the need of exercising new encounter possibilities with others  through dancing, and the desire to experiment other ways of roaming, recognizing and reappropriating the public space.

Úumbal proposes walkind and dancing through the streets of the city as a form of liberation of the individual and collective body, an artistic-political demonstration, which claims the right to enjoyment and to be together.
