Después de presentarse en  México en el año  2015, Úumbal: coreografía nómada para habitantes fue invitada en 2019 por la organización cultural  Fringe Arts, para construir un “ÚumbalPhilly” con, desde y para los residentes de la ciudad de Filadelfia, Estados Unidos.

Úumbal propone estar, andar y bailar por las calles de la ciudad como una forma de  liberación del cuerpo individual y colectivo. En Septiembre de 2019, en el marco del Fringe Arts Festival, el colectivo #ÚumbalPhilly recorrió calles, parques y plazas públicas de Sur de Filadelfia en una manifestación artístico-política que reclamó el derecho al goce y a estar juntos.

After performing in Mexico Úumbal: nomadic choreography for inhabitants in 2015, Úumbal: nomadic choreography for inhabitants was invited in 2019 by the cultural organization Fringe Arts, to build  “ÚumbalPhilly” with, from and for the residents of the city of Philadelphia, United States.

Úumbal proposes to be, walk and dance through the streets of the city as a way of individual and collective liberation. In September 2019, in the framework of the Fringe Arts Festival, the #ÚumbalPhilly collective toured streets, parks and public squares of South Philadelphia in an artistic-political demonstration that  claimed the right to enjoyment and to be together.
